What is the Christmas Bureau?

The Christmas Bureau is a group of organizations in Waterloo Region that connects community members to support over the Christmas Season. These organizations provide families with gifts for their children and food for a holiday meal.

In Kitchener, gifts are provided by the Kitchener Salvation Army and food is provided by House of Friendship.

In Cambridge, gifts are provided by the Cambridge Salvation Army and food is provided by the Cambridge Self Help Food Bank. The Cambridge Firefighters also support families with gifts and food.

Wilmot Family Resource Centre and Woolwich Community Services help their respective communities.

Online registration for Christmas Hamper programs in Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge is now closed.

We have reached our capacity for food and toy support but if you are in urgent need of assistance for the holidays and missed registration, please call 519-742-5860.
